InfiNeXt Educational Solutions, LLC was founded by Ishmael Brown, Jr. in 2012. He is a certified (and Highly Qualified) high school math teacher who has been teaching for more than 20 years. Ishmael is also a two-time nominee for "Who's Who Among America's Teachers." However, his real passion is tutoring. He began tutoring as a student in 1996. Ishmael graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from South Carolina State University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2018. He holds certifications through the National Tutoring Association (NTA, www.ntatutor.org) as an Advanced Level Tutor (with a Mathematics Endorsement), Academic Coach, and Tutor Trainer. He currently holds the position of President for the NTA. From New Orleans, Louisiana, Ashley Teater believes in innovative approaches and improved solutions to education. Observation, inspiration, and determination are her foundation for success. Her philosophy is that through the introduction of fresh perspectives and innovative techniques and supports, students are able to evolve and grow. She is a highly qualified teacher in both middle level and secondary English as well as K-12 Special Education. This is her 15th year in education and by providing a safe, nurturing, and rigorous learning environment, students are better equipped with 21st-century skills to become lifelong learners who are globally minded and civically engaged. Through collaboration, a dash of inquiry, and continuous feedback, students are highly engaged in rigorous learning.
She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in secondary education at Stetson University. Through Project Create, Mrs. Teater has earned a special education endorsement and has been teaching special education for the past four years. Brian Hedgecock is in his 11th year as a certified (and Highly Qualified) high school math teacher. He graduated from USC Aiken with a B.S Degree in math education and Masters in Educational Technology in 2020 from Grand Canyon University. Brian started tutoring while in college at USC AIken. He worked every semester in the math tutoring center helping students to better understand the different math classes taught at the university. As a teacher, his curriculum vita includes all math classes from Algebra 1 to Precalculus. He is also a very passionate wrestling coach and official. Born in the low country of South Carolina, Kimberly English brings a passion for mathematics that will make you yearn to learn. She received her B.S. in mathematics from the University of South Carolina in 2001 and is currently working on a Masters in technology. She has been teaching all levels of secondary mathematics from pre-algebra to calculus for the last 15 years. She continuously works smarter not harder to help her students love math just as much as she does.
Kimberly strives hard to make mathematics fun and relatable in her classroom and with her peers through professional development. She continuously studies the interdisciplinary approach to teaching mathematics through S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) with the College of Charleston and Edventure Children's Museum. Work smart, play hard is her motto. As a certified teacher in AB Calculus and International Baccalaureate Math SL and HL, she has created math lessons and projects that allow students to enjoy the rigor of mathematics through playing. She drives her students to tap into knowledge they never knew they had. Sophfronia Tucker is a woman that wears many hats. A native South Carolinian, raised in the Low Country, she is the proud wife of Mr. Charles B. Harrell. She is the founder of Christian Women Investment Association (CWIA), the President and Founder of Women of Purpose Fellowship Ministries (WOPFM) Intl. Inc., a Certified Life Coach, member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and realtor with Exit Real Estate Solutions.
Serving and leading others came naturally to Sophfronia at an early age. She continued to foster that gift throughout high school, college and adulthood, where she mentored and tutored students primarily in math from middle school to adults.
In her professional career, she has served as a software engineer for over 22 years developing and testing Air Traffic systems and worked in the field of Information Technology for over 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Benedict College, Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from North Carolina State University, Master of Business Administration from Kaplan University and currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University. Nicole Pringle is a teachable teacher. She earned her B.A. in Chemistry from Benedict College in 1998 and her Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in 2012. Although she is a career changer, she has always held a passion for teaching. As an undergraduate student at both Claflin University and Benedict College, she was a tutor on campus for her community service projects. Upon graduating from college, Nicole worked with Verizon Communications for more than a decade until she realized that her true calling was teaching. So, in 2015 she left Verizon and joined the South Carolina Public School System as a Science Teacher.
